October half-term means it’s time to check out those Pumpkins! Something the kids love to do and it feels very autumnal!
We have collated some of our favourite places to go for the best pumpkins in town! Let’s carve out some fun!

PYO Farm – Garsons Esher
Garsons is an award-winning Garden Centre and Farm Shop with locations at Esher in Surrey and Titchfield in Hampshire. Garsons PYO Farm is now open you must have a farm pass to book.
You will need to pre-book your slot before arriving, all individuals must each have a pumpkin pass to enter the farm gates.
Willows Activity Farm
The Willows Pumpkin Patch is a great activity for the children that is looked forward to every half term. The way that Willows make the seasonal events so fun and creative is great value for money and a lovely experience for all ages. It runs from 15th October – 31st November with a free pumpkin for every child admission. The programme at Willows farm is filled with great festive activities to enjoy a full day out. There’s also a Pumpkin Hunt for you all to enjoy with a prize badge for all those taking part.
Lewis of London
Join the Lewis of London Pumpkin Party between 15th-30th of October. Grab a wheelbarrow to choose your pumpkin from their haunted hay pits and join them for a pumpkin party experience like no other. Fancy dress is encouraged.
And of course, there will also be yummy ice creams and hot chocolate served in the café.
Crockbridge Farm
Crockford Bridge farm occupies around 80 acres of green belt land in West Surrey.
Pumpkin Picking directly from their fields has now finished for 2022 due to the risk of ground frost but you can simply turn up and buy a pumpkin without booking from the outdoor Pumpkin Market.
Or you can join them for the 3rd Weekend and the last week of October (half term) for their Pumpkin Festival. There will be varied performers around the Pumpkin Festival, as well as some pumpkin carving and decorating workshops and fun scavenger hunts.
Stanhill Farm
Stanhill Farm grows an abundance of pumpkins on the farm each year for Halloween, these are available from the pumpkin patch and the Farm shop. It is open from October 15th, but you must Pre-Book. You can grab a wheelbarrow and head down to the patch and choose your favourite pumpkins in, you can also get a fab photo in the orange array of the pumpkin patch.
Where-ever you decide to go, enjoy your day and have a really gourd time.
