Sponsored content – The Ease of Using a Professional Nanny Agency for Childcare

Creating time in a busy family household

In the new age of hybrid working with the trickledown effect from COVID-19, maintaining a work-life-family balance has become harder than ever. Tinies are passionate about giving families solutions to the new-age problem of childcare in a society where it has become harder than ever to achieve the happy medium between careers and family life.

It takes a village to raise a family, and Tinies is here to make that village strong, whether families are looking for holiday support, a full-time nanny or an option for ad-hoc care, we believe that every family deserves a solution that works for them.

professional nanny

How can a professional nanny support my family?

It is often misconstrued that a nanny is the more expensive option for families, or that nannies are glorified babysitters; this could not be further from the truth. In families with multiple children, nannies often work out to be the cheaper option, rather than paying for two children’s nursery fees, you are paying one fixed price for dedicated one-to-one care for your children.

Our nannies have expertly honed their craft and provide a level of flexibility and devoted support for your little ones that is hard to find within a nursery setting. Nannies can support with cooking, take your children to playgroups, provide stimulating education activities and so much more all whilst building a nurturing, supportive relationship with the most precious people in your life!

Whether you need temporary care whilst you go out for a much-needed date night, would like an extra pair of hands during the school holidays, or need a permanent solution for your return to work, Tinies will expertly match you with a wonderful nanny who has been hand-picked to best support your needs.

professional nanny

Why use a professional childcare agency?

Tinies London & International, have been growing consistently year after year, processing and preparing huge numbers of highly experienced nannies and child carers seeking work both on a permanent or temporary basis.

All our nannies and child carers have a minimum of 3 years of experience with all their referees called and checked by our staff along with their up-to-date DBS check. Most also have paediatric first aid and other childcare qualifications. They are all interviewed, with only those that we feel are the very best being approved for work with our clients.

This service allows you to work at home and have your children cared for at the same time. It allows you to leave the house to undertake important errands and jobs which may have been put on hold due to the childcare struggles of the modern age. All whilst in the knowledge that matters at home are being taken care of by fully vetted and professional staff.

Enquire to see how we can help

At Tinies, one of our mantras is ‘Building Stronger Families’. Our nanny service will give you the peace of mind to do just this. It gives you the time and breathing space you need to get things done, outside of the home, so that you can be the very best you can be, when at home.

Who would have known? Call us today!! To discuss further how we can help, please call our offices on 020 77365214 or email c.london@tinies.com and we would be delighted to explain our services in more detail.

Celebrating all things Caribbean

The Notting Hill Carnival, held during the August bank holiday weekend on the 25th and 26th of August, is the highlight of the summer. This year, it will feature 56 mas bands, 9 Brazilian bands, and 18 steel bands, with numerous sound systems along the route – a real celebration of Caribbean history and culture.

Catch a show

Enter the whimsical world of Bertie Wooster, in Stiff Upper Lip, Jeeves, an affable young gentleman with a penchant for getting himself in the most outlandish predicaments. He faces misadventures, from ill-fated romances to comical escapades, all set against the backdrop of a world filled with eccentric aunts, quirky friends, and a host of unforgettable characters. Featuring live jazz music, from our ensemble of actor-musicians – a jolly good time awaits you! Suitable for children aged 7 and older, this event takes place at St Paul’s Church Covent Garden.

Celebrating 25 years in 2024 since The Gruffalo was first published, audiences are invited to join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood as Tall Stories bring their magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler to the West End this summer from 17 July – 8 September at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue. Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the high-spirited Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there? Songs, laughs and monstrous fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups, in the much-loved show that’s toured Britain and the world!

Meet the Waterbury children: Roberta, Peter, and Phyllis, in The Railway Children at St Paul’s Church Covent Garden. They are ordinary children living in an ordinary house, until one day, a mysterious event changes their lives forever. Forced to move to the countryside, they move near a bustling railway, where every passing locomotive brings new mysteries, friendships, and discoveries. Our young heroes find themselves in the midst of a true adventure. Suitable for children aged 5 and older.

Building upon two horribly successful summer runs, Birmingham Stage Company have announced the return of Horrible Histories – Terrible Tudors for their third year at the West End’s Apollo Theatre. Audiences will be taken on a whistle stop tour full of the gruesome details about the Tudor dynasty, from the horrible Henries to the end of evil Elizabeth. Find out the fate of Henry’s wives and his punch up with the Pope – meet Bloody Mary and see Ed fall dead in his bed! Hear the legends (and the lies!) about the torturing, Terrible Tudors when the production opens on the 25th of July and plays until the 1st of September. Suitable for children aged 5 and older.

August 2024

Looking for a mind-blowing show to watch with the kids? Try Brainiac Live, the family science show that’s been entertaining and educating audiences since its debut in 2008! And the show will be back in London this summer at Marylebone Theatre between 30th July and 24th August.

Watch Rough Magic, Shakespeare’s Globe and Splendid Productions’ brand-new family show. Enter the world of Shakespeare’s magical characters as Macbeth’s wonderfully wayward Weird Sisters cook up a supernaturally silly adventure of their own. You can also also sign up for one of the Macbeth workshops for ages 5 – 8 and ages 9 – 12.

Exciting exhibitions

Explore London’s Gardens

Explore the evolution of life on Earth in the Natural History Museum’s Gardens, from the age of dinosaurs to the present day. Along the way, you will see ancient fossils, spot Fern, the full-size bronze Diplodocus, watch dragonflies hover over our wildlife pond, or listen to birds singing in the trees.

Stroll through the historic gardens of Kensington Palace, where royalty once walked. The upper grounds feature the Sunken Garden with the statue of Diana, Princess of Wales; and the lower grounds include a wildflower meadow that blooms in the summer with poppies, campion, daisies, and many other wildflowers.

Discover Pumpkin (2024), a new large-scale sculpture by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama at the Serpentine Galleries. Measuring 6 metres high and 5.5 metres in diameter, it will be showcased until 3 November 2024 near the Round Pond in Kensington Gardens.

Summer must-have: Spikeball

Summer Guide 2024

Gather your pals, family, grandma, and dog: Spikeball is played in two teams of two. Each team has up to 3 touches (think bump, set, spike) to hit the ball back on the net! There are no sides or boundaries and you can play anywhere

2v2 ACTION – Spikeball is a fun, active, and competitive (if you want it to be) 2 on 2 outdoor indoor sports game played on uni campuses, gardens, driveways, beaches or gyms, with rules kind of like volleyball.

FOLDABLE LEGS make the product tougher. Errant dives and falls happen, these legs can take the abuse. Bonus! They make it easier to store Spikeball in your trunk, closet or garage.

ADJUSTABLE NET – Play at the tournament standard or tailor the net tightness to your preference. More bounce for newer players and less bounce for advanced ones.
THREE BALLS – Only one is needed to play, but sometimes you don’t want to go chase it down between points.

PLAY ANYWHERE – Spikeball is perfect for the backyard, the beach, or even your living room.
