Come rain or shine, Portobello Market is one of Kensington Mum’s favourite street markets in the area. Boasting with tourists, residents and on-lookers this market is always buzzing. You can find anything from fruit and vegetables, to fashions and accessories through to maps and books, toys and games, and antique furniture to name but a few. Also not to forget to various snacks and lunches along the way. A lovely walk, despite the crowd with a pram on a Saturday morning.

Bird and Nature Walk in Holland Park. 6th of July. A free guided nature walk around Holland Park looking for fauna and flora of seasonal interest with local expert Ian Thomson (the Friends of Holland Park). The Telegraph Bath Children’s Literature Festival (27 September – 6 October) seeks to entertain children and teenagers, and to enthuse them about reading. It aims to create a friendly, family atmosphere in which young book fans can meet their favourite authors and book characters, take part in craft activities, quizzes and games and experiment with their own writing and drawing in fun creative workshops. Get Fit For Free featuring Bootcamp. Want to get ride of the baby fat? until 31st JULY. Get Fit For Free is an hour-long free weekly class featuring a mix of calisthenics and body weight exercises with interval and strength training. Instructors are from the nearby 37° gym who will push you to a limit you wouldn’t normally go to on your own. Suitable for all fitness levels just turn up in your workout gear. For your first class please turn up 10 minutes before as you will have to register and complete a Par-q form.
