Kensington Mums reviews

I never fully understood how hard it is to engage the children in focus learning activities, until schools closed and parents all over the world found themselves becoming teachers overnight. The juggle is real between balancing the kids at home, homeschooling and work from home. We were glad to receive 2 of the star mat kids.

I keep hearing ‘school was more fun!’ daily! Luckily we have plenty of resources available and lots of ideas to do at home during lockdown. One of my favourite so far has been Smartmat Kids. These really cool placemats are colourful and engaging and are filled with themed learning activities – dinosaurs, space, food, colours etc connect the dots, colouring in and learn tables and facts. My children were hooked! No more requests of screen time at the dinner table and a bit of peace for parents desperately trying to figure out how to make time tables fun. No more screaming that dinner is ready and asking them to switch the tv off.

Smartmat Promises to

  1. Educate
  2. Enlighten
  3. Encourage

We can get food ready and on the table while the children silently LEARN! How amazing is that? We need to keep our sanity alive and thats what the sheets are: busy and colourful and made with recycled paper. And the activities vary from preschooler to 10 years old. Which is a winner for our 5 and 8 years old!

You can purchase the smartmat kids via their website and they are available in 2 sizes.
