Londoners prepare for the ultimate Easter Egg Hunt taking place this year around Covent Garden. We’re not yolking with you, in celebration of all things Easter, London’s modern Mexican restaurant, Cantina Laredo, on Upper St Martin’s Lane will be hiding 101 eggs around the area, offering Londoners the opportunity to partake in an epic Easter egg hunt, with plenty of prizes to be won. Taking inspiration from Mexican cascarones, decorative eggs used in celebrations, specifically at Easter, Cantina Laredo will launch their own campaign, ‘Find the Cascarón’. The only question is who will find the egg-ceptional golden egg…
Launching on Monday 26th March until Monday 2nd April 2018, everyone is invited to ‘Find the Cascarón’ throughout the week, for a chance to win an array of prizes, which will include everything from free margaritas, any of ‘The Great Eight Guacamoles’ and complimentary dinner at Cantina Laredo worth £200, an egg-celent Easter treat for tequila lovers.
In the spirit of giving, Prince William’s charity Centrepoint will be given a little extra this Easter, as Cantina Laredo will be gifting Easter eggs to all those staying at Centrepoint Berwick Street. Centrepoint is a charity providing housing and support for young people in London, Manchester, Yorkshire and the North East.
Those looking to ‘Find the Cascarón’ will be able to redeem their eggs for an array of prizes which can be enjoyed alongside Cantina Laredo’s traditional yet innovative Mexican cuisine. Situated in the heart of Covent Garden, Cantina Laredo offers diners a truly authentic modern Mexican experience, taking guests on an unforgettable journey through Mexico’s diverse regional cuisines. Tarryn Ginsberg has teamed up with one of Mexico City’s culinary experts, Roberto De la Parra to create an informal sharing menu that offers dinners a sophisticated yet informal and relaxed dining experience.
