Kensington Mums was delighted to review the recently opened Bone Daddies High Street Kensington, located within Whole Foods Market at 63-97 Kensington High Street.
The restaurant had a nice lay out & the staff were very friendly and helpful from the start. They welcomed us and helped with our pushchair and with our baby whilst we got him settled in the high chair. Throughout the meal they were attentive without being annoying, they were enthusiastic and helpful and very playful towards our son who is well behaved but still a little messy at the dinner table. Overall, we thought they were very patient and understanding.
We had not been to Bone Daddies before and decided to go as a pre-christmas family dinner. We loved how the table was set, the sesame seed grinder and the giant bibs they gave us to eat our ramen without getting messy, that made the night just a little more fun 😉 . Not having been to Bone Daddies before, we were excited to try a selection of things from the menu.
The yellow tail sashimi was delicious, light and a perfect little starter. We also tried the ribs which were very tasty and the portion was very big. I was so full after all the starters that I didn’t have room for the main course.
We also ordered Edamame beans as our young boy really loves them.
We also had a their twist on a Gin & Tonic. It was nice and refreshing.
Kimchee Ramen, which we substituted the chicken broth to veg as my husband doesn’t eat meat.
He thought it was very tasty. The broth was very nice and the egg with the noodles was a pleasant surprise. It was filling but in a nice way.
We had a children’s ramen for our son. It was very suitable for a 15 month old baby, he was happy munching away on the noodles and some of the sides we had ordered.
We ordered a selection of strawberry, hazelnut and mango rice-paste coated ice cream as dessert which was very different to the traditional ice-cream but really tasty and refreshing. The portion was perfect for sharing.
We left feeling very satisfied and will definitely be going back. The restaurant is very baby friendly and is also a great place to go as a couple or as a family as they cater for children very well.
