Welcome to our first newsletter of 2013! Thank you for all those who took their time in completing our super short survey for 2013. Kensington Mums would like to welcome Mummy Victoria Beckham and family have officially moved back to London and renting a pad in Kensington and the Duchess of Cambridge’s on the baby news.
Here is something I made last week at my local children’s centre. Not bad for a first time sewing attempt! The course runs for 10 weeks so hoping to learn new skills, that’s one of my new year resolutions for 2013.
Rhyme time at Kensington Central Library is always fun. Sessions takes places every Wednesday and Friday from 10-10.20am.
You asked for more mummy and baby meet ups, we made it happen!
For those of you who follow me Kensington Mums on Facebook and Twitter would have heard that Kensington Mums is attending a play session at the Kid’s Zone of the National Army Museum at 10.10am. Sadly tickets are now sold out! Looking forwards for some fun!

Kensington Mums Valentine’s Day Pamper Session. It’s time for Mums, leave your little ones with your other half and come along to an exclusive event at Neal’s Yard Remedies in Kensington on Saturday 9th of Feb from 10am-12pm. Limited places available. Session will include one to one consultation with leading expert from Neal’s Yard Remedies, topics covered will include stress and relaxation, sleep issues, detoxing, child/baby remedies, and skincare. Each Mum will receive a special goody bag, 15% of all products on the day, a choice of mini facial or mini massage.

As you walk through London’s Royal Parks, you can feel the benefits of escaping the stress of the city and getting some fresh air. Booking required.
Baby Tales: The Knights of the Round Table with Chrétien de Troyes at the Institut français. Saturday 19 Jan starting at 11.00am. Suitable for ages 0-3. Travel back to the times of this mystical legend with the help of Arthur and his brave knights. Gallop on gallant horses, save the damsels in distress and search for the secret whereabouts of the Holy Grail. Booking required. Please note session is in easy French. Rain Room at the Barbican (until 3rd March 2013).FREE. Rain Room is a 100 square metre field of falling water for visitors to walk through and experience how it might feel to control the rain. On entering The Curve the visitor hears the sound of water and feels moisture in the air before discovering the thousands of falling droplets that respond to their presence and movement. Sounds interesting!
Amazing Adornments at the Design Museum. Saturday 20th January 2013. Starting at 2-4.30pm.
