The baby blues and post – natal depression; how many people feel comfortable talking about these?
How many people know what these actually mean?
It is normal to feel a bit low, lost and teary post the birth of this little human being ? yes
Is it something most people experience? yes Is it spoken about often? No, but we as a society are getting better at doing and accepting this.
The aim of what I want to do today is let you all know how many people I have seen with and talked to about these.
I want to tell you the symptoms people with both baby blues and post natal depression can experience and let you know what help is available.
I want to encourage you to speak about how you feel and what advice and resources are available to tap into once when you are pregnant or have given birth.I want you to know what advice and treatments are available should you need them and who you should see / consult if this is the case. I want you to know you are not alone and no matter what you are feeling, someone else is feeling it or has been through it too.
We have limited places available with limited high chairs available.
