This was one of those last minute family outing that turn out to be so much fun. After asking the lovely members of the group on our Facebook group where to go strawberry picking with little ones, and a couple of recommendations later…we decided to visit Garsons Farm in Esher.
A drive away from Kensington, we met up with Kensington Mums, Dads and their little ones for a little pick your own adventure. As it was heavily raining the day before, we all came prepared with our wellies and rain coats. To our lovely surprise, the sun decided to shine and our little ones couldn’t help but splash in the muddy puddles and playing like Peppa Pig. This was a great outing with kids and highly recommended. The kids learned all about how fruits and vegetables grow while their were picking and smelling them. There was a wide variety of crops from beans to spinach, sweetcorn to sweet peas, and of course lots of strawberries and raspberries. A top tip, plan what you are picking.
A fun afternoon in the sun
