Kensington Mums were delighted to be invited to enjoy the breathtaking view from London’s highest garden space 800ft above the city at The View from The Shard. The open-air skydeck has been transformed with over 2,000 plants and flowers. Being up there is so pretty and the view tops it all up with over 200 landmarks to see. Highly recommend going there with the kids before 15th September 2015.
Kensington Mums got treated for a family feast at the famous Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant this summer located in the Trocadero building in the heart of bustling Piccadilly Circus. As soon as you walk in, you get the feeling of being part of the 1994 film “Forrest Gump”. Set over 2 floors, with lift access if you have a buggy, the music, service and atmosphere was just great. They have a great selection for the kids menu and the quality of seafood that fans of “Bubbas” was better than expected. Our waiter quizzed us on the movie and kids loved taking their ‘boat’ home with flashing glass part of their kids menu. It is seriously all about the shrimps, so don’t forget to order the Shrimper’s net catcher and for main Shrimper’s heaven. Make sure you leave space for the dessert!
Kensington Mums enjoyed a family day out at the Natural History Museum in the hear of South Kensington to visit Sensational Butterflies exhibition. It was indeed a sensational experience.
