Back to School Scoop

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday, we are so sad to see it end so quickly! We are slowly getting  back into routine for back to School. We have shared our Summer adventure on our social media channels, in case you have not been following us, you can catch us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat and now more recently on Instagram Stories too. Needless to say we  are always online sharing the best of our findings and summer family destinations. Little House of Science offer classes for curious minds. Little House of Science is a place for Little Scientists to learn, experiment, explore and play! For children aged 3-7 & Big Science 8-11 years. The science workshops are project based with > practical hands-on experiments and include take home items and parental notes, they are fun to nurture your child’s natural curiosity. Little Maths Club (2-4 years) for toddler is to learn about how numbers are everywhere, along with music, games, shapes&colours! Little Discovery (6-24 months) is for Mum and Baby taking their first steps together in learning about the fascinating world where there is so much to learn and experience.

West London School of Dance was founded in 1986 by Anna du Boisson. The purpose of the school is to teach different forms of dance and to provide students with the opportunity to perform in professionally staged productions. We offer classes for boys and girls age 2 ½ – 16 years old. “Make History” Sessions at Kensington Palace. Running on the last Saturday of every month. Times: 11.00, 12.30 and 14.30 (duration 45 minutes). Get hands on and make a different aspect of palace history each month, from gardening to painting and chocolate making. Please note workshops are bookable on the day from the Family Desk. Aimed at children aged 7 – 11 years.

The Ecology Centre  in Holland Park contains displays and information about the local and natural history of Holland Park and other sites of Nature Conservation Importance within the Borough. The Ecology Centre at Holland Park runs a series of events, activities, educational visits, workshops and volunteer days for schools, groups, children and the public.
