Inspired by the characters from The Tower Bridge Cat book series, families are invited to complete the new interactive Tower Bridge Cat Trail. Find the installations as you make your way through the attraction and meet the Bridge Master and his team – Hannah, the Cook, Poppy, the Painter, and Stan, the Stoker, and identical twins Eddie the Engineer and Olly the Oiler – who will all help you to answer key questions about the history of Tower Bridge and complete the tasks.

Explore the Robot Zoo at the Horniman Museum & Gardens. This family-friendly exhibition features larger-than-life animals that have been created using a variety of familiar machine parts and gadgets. Explore how real creatures see, eat, hunt, and hide through these innovative robotic creations.

Come along to this family-friendly workshop – Hieroglyphs with Hugo Cook – at Leighton House on Saturday 22nd February to hear Egyptologist and author Hugo D. Cook unveil the wonders of hieroglyphs in this engaging session.

Enjoy the Museum, free from the hustle and bustle of the general public. Dawnosaurs is a free event for neurodivergent children at the National History Museum. Visitors have access to a wide range of galleries and activities, supported by and led by experienced, neurodivergent-aware facilitators.

Indulge in a luxury afternoon tea with a science-inspired twist at the Science Museum. Curated by Benugo chefs, this unique experience features creative treats like petri dish jelly, Earl Grey-soaked scones, and their signature pink lemonade—where you’ll use chemistry to craft your own fizzy drink! The Science Afternoon Tea is available Wednesday-Sunday between 12 pm -3 pm.

Strap in for pop-punk juggling as juggler Wes Peden shares his cutting-edge tricks inspired by corkscrews, adrenaline and high-tech seatbelts, at Southbank Centre. Rollercoaster features a four-metre transparent tube making balls spiral around Peden’s body, spinning plate rituals, epic disco juggling and some of the most difficult juggling ever done on stage, accompanied by electro beats composed of distorted rollercoaster sounds. Once upon a time, a little old lady lived all by herself in her cosy cottage, but she wasn’t happy – her house felt just too small.  Whatever could she do?  Will the wise old man’s solution of bringing in a flappy, scratchy, greedy, noisy crowd of farmyard animals work? Discover this heartwarming and hilarious adventure, full of beautiful puppets and enchanting songs.

February Half-Term Scoop 2025Is it Better to Have a Pig’s Heart that Works… Than a Human Heart that Doesn’t? Pig Heart Boy, at the Unicorn Theatre, is a powerful new stage adaptation of multi-award-winning writer Malorie Blackman’s beloved novel Pig Heart Boy bringing to life the heart-wrenching story of Cameron, a 13-year-old boy facing a life-or-death decision. Cameron has always dreamed of living a normal life, but his world is turned upside down when he is diagnosed with a serious heart condition and faces an urgent need for a heart transplant. Adapted by the acclaimed playwright Winsome Pinnock and directed by Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu, this moving production explores themes of survival, identity, offering a raw and poignant portrayal of the hope, light, and darkness that childhood illness brings to families.
