Wear it Pink on 21st October 2016

We all know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Kensington Mums is proud to be supporting Wear it pink campaign, a worldwide annual campaign involving thousands of organisations, to highlight the importance of breast awareness, education and research.

Wear it pink is an event that everyone in your home or school can get involved with. You just need everyone to grab, bake, eat or buy something pink – and, of course, wear it pink – to help raise vital funds for breast cancer research.

About wear it pink

When you join the hundreds of thousands of people who take part in wear it pink, you become part of a collective force of scientists, supporters and people affected by breast cancer. Together, by funding cutting-edge research, our aim is to ensure no one dies from breast cancer by 2050.

Get involved

From asking everyone to wear pink and make a donation, to engaging the whole school community in a full-scale pink pageant, there are loads of ways you and your school can do to raise money for vital breast cancer research on wear it pink day, 21 October – and have tons of fun together at the same time! Here are some fundraising ideas.
