What’s in store this October Half Term
Ever wondered where those rubber ducks go after bathtime? Join The Strings Club at the Tubingen Duck Race workshop and discover the spectacle of 7000 yellow ducks floating down the River Necker. It’s a quacking good time!
Step into the radiant world of Diwali, the South Asian festival of light, as they explore its traditions and create vibrant Rangoli patterns. The colours will dazzle your child’s senses!
Classical music aficionados, The Strings Club haven’t forgotten you! Children will experience Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” in a whole new way by immersing themselves in the autumnal world that inspired this masterpiece. Smells, sounds, and colours of fall will come to life.
Halloween enthusiasts, brace yourselves! Their Halloween workshop is your child’s chance to craft eerie masks and decorations for a spine-chilling Halloween Parade. It’s going to be a scream!
Love singing and dancing? Dive into our Dia de los Muertos celebration during the Coco workshop. Sing, dance, act, and create memorable crafts in honour of this vibrant Mexican tradition.
In honour of Black History Month, The Strings club will shine a spotlight on incredible achievers like Sheku Kanneh-Mason, the British cellist. His talent knows no bounds, and his story will inspire all. ✊
Now, it’s time to take to the skies with their DIY Balloon Fiesta. Experience the awe of hot air balloons at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta as children try their hand at crafting their very own balloon masterpiece.
Finally, creativity will soar at their MassKara Festival workshop where your child can discover the art of creating colourful beaded masks and vibrant hats, all in celebration of resilience and festivity.
To cap off the week, The Strings Club Halloween Parade will see everyone marching proudly in their masks and decorations, ready to show off our spooky spirit!
Alongside their fun-filled workshops are their morning “Learn Together, Play Together” sessions, led by the UK’s friendliest and experienced string teachers. Instruments on offer include Guitar, Violin or Ukulele. There’s even free hire of an instrument to take home too.

The Strings Club was founded in 2012 by professional violinist and teacher, Amy Cunningham. Her aim was to give children an opportunity to engage with music in a rewarding, enriching and most importantly, fun, way.
Since then The Strings Club has welcomed over 500,000 children, offering exceptional experiences – from the first-class facilities they hire, to the wonderful teams they recruit, to their exclusive “Essential Info” emails that are sent to parents one week before the Holiday Camps begin.
