We had a connecting rooms, with king size beds which are ideal for families with kids. The views from the room were stunning showing some of London’s iconic landmarks including London Eye and big ben, which got the kids excited. Breakfast was also included in our stay. Mayfair Lounge & Grill launch Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea
To mark the royal occasion we enjoyed the hotel’s new Platinum Afternoon Tea either in the hotel inspired by flavours of the Commonwealth to commemorate Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years of service as monarch and Head of the Commonwealth.
The Platinum Afternoon Tea includes Cypriot inspired pastries, Mauritian streamed cassava cakes, and delicious finger sandwiches which pay homage to the tastes of the Caribbean and India.
Mayfair Lounge & Grill is also offering afternoon tea boxes to take away to be enjoyed at one’s leisure. Priced at £20 per head and based on two people sharing, the afternoon tea is served in a presentation box with disposable cutlery and includes finger sandwiches, sweet treats, homemade scones with jam and cream.
Guests and families can extend their stay with the Platinum Afternoon Tea experience. Priced from ÂŁ408 per room per night it includes the Platinum Afternoon tea, an overnight stay, and a full English breakfast the following morning.
