Kensington Mums reviews*

Modern Pub, Delicious Sunday roast with child supervision in White City’s Television Centre.

The Broadcaster was launched in October 2021 by Open House London, the group behind the successful King’s Cross pub, The Lighterman and the newly opened The Arber Garden in Fitzrovia. You can read our latest review here.

We were delighted to review The Broadcaster in white city this summer. The four-storey site is located at the entrance to Television Centre in White City, West London. On the ground floor, the 70-seat bar and dining area offers an extensive drinks list, and a menu of bar snacks and small plates. The first-floor dining room menu, overseen by Chef Luke Rayment-Blakey, includes elevated takes on British classics and pub favourites, as well as several plant-based options. The second-floor private events space launched in December, and a third-floor rooftop bar launched this summer, with panoramic views of west London. We were even lucky to try out a yoga class before our Sunday lunch and best of all, kids can be supervised every Sunday, keep on reading to know more.

The perfect Sunday Roast with a view

sunday roastThe Broadcaster’s Sunday roasts (£15-21) are available alongside flatbreads and large plates from the à la carte menu, and include Castlemead half roast chicken with bread sauce; Rare breed beef sirloin with mustard cabbage and horseradish cream; Old Spot pork loin with braised red cabbage and apple sauce; and a plant-based Beetroot, mushroom and lentil Wellington with Portobello mushroom sauce. All roasts are accompanied by seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, and house-made gravy. In addition to the full drinks offering, a classic Bloody Mary (£10) and Mimosa (£10.50) can also be ordered to accompany the Sunday roast. On a beautiful Sunday, enjoy the views, delicious food and soak up some sun.

Great for families with Kids Table

The Kids Table at the Aerial Rooftop and The Broadcaster which is complimentary for those dining in White City. It is available on Sundays, from 12.30pm to 4.30pm. The Kids’ Table is on a mission to offer parents the freedom to have a lazy lunch or brunch out in peace, and what a dream it is! If you know, you know. Their team will keep an eye on the nippers while they enjoy craft, games and creative table-top fun; meaning parents can enjoy a long leisurely lunch…and finish a sentence.

Make sure you check The Broadcaster out this summer.
