We were invited for a family this Easter holiday on the banks of the River Thames at Teddington where the Lensbury Hotel resort offers the best family staycation with leading leisure facilities, elegant hotel accommodation and great food with a cosy atmosphere.

Easter Holiday Staycation at the Lensbury Hotel London

This Easter there are arrange of family activities on offer at The Lensbury –  located in leafy Teddington, just 40 minutes outside of London. The resort’s position on the banks of the River Thames is enviable, and is situated in 25 acres of grounds including 24 tennis and squash courts, leisure club and watersports centre. The hotel also features a spa which is great for parents to take some time for self care as well as a fitness centre, creche, restaurant and bar. The resort really ticks all boxes available for the perfect family staycation.

Sports and Activities at the Lensbury

From tennis to watersports and multi-activity courses, there’s something for all children aged two upwards. Sports lovers will be happy on the tennis courts, building rafts, sailing or kayaking on the river. While creative kids can get involved with arts and crafts classes or mini chef workshops in the kitchen. The littlest ones are not forgotten with a Teddy Bear’s Picnic, Easter Picture Hunt and movie mornings.

Enjoy time in the Lensbury Club, whether you are looking to work out in the state-of-the-art gym and studios, enjoy a game of tennis with friends, family time in the swimming pool or in a boat from the watersports centre – there is truly something for everyone.

Easter Camp at the Lensbury

Easter activities and camps for Easter run 4th – 15th April 2022. All are led by qualified and experienced instructors and childcare professionals, meaning parents can relax and enjoy the resort knowing their children are in safe hands. Hotel Accommodation

We had a family room, which included two king size beds and fitted 2 adults and 2 children. The room was beautifully styled with elegant décor, the Deluxe Twin rooms are generously spacious and provide the perfect place to retreat following a busy day. The bedrooms are decorated to a high standard and offer two king or queen double beds, making them perfect for a family staycation. For added comfort these rooms benefited from Egyptian cotton sheets, air-conditioning, fridge with complimentary water, large flat-screen TV, docking station, Espresso coffee machine, complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, fluffy bathrobes and underfloor heating in the bathroom.

Included in our stay was a 2 hours on a Lensbury Motorboat for an afternoon meander down the Thames.

Nightly room rates start from £145 for a Classic Double or £235 for a Deluxe Twin / Family Room, including breakfast.

Food and Drink at The Lensbury

We had dinner and breakfast during our stay and we were not disappointed. Dinner was a la carte, we ordered their pizza, fennel salad, steak and pasta while enjoying beautiful views overlooking the banks of the River Thames. Breakfast was a buffet selection of fresh baked bread, english breakfast and fruits. Breakfast is served from 7am-9.30am. The Lounge Restaurant offers seasonal menu choices to enjoy with family or friends. They also serve Sunday lunch for a traditional Sunday roast courtesy of their talented team of chefs.
