Newsletter 23 September 2013

Hello lovely KM readers,
Here’s your weekly newsletter from Kensington mums.
Keeping you in the loop with the local scoop

I hope you and your little ones had a lovely weekend. We’ve got loads of events taking place this weekend. First up is our first session of the Motherhood exhibition running this Friday 27th Sept 2013 at Cheyne Children Centre with crèche availability. Get in touch if you would like to come along and share your motherhood journey. On Sat 28th Sept is our charity walk for the Walkabout Foundation in Hyde Park. Loads of you have already registered, its going to be a great family fun day out for the whole family to enjoy. But we need ALL your help in fundraising for this great charity. It all takes one click for you to donate any amount you can, even if its just a £1 to be able to donate wheelchairs to people in need.  In this week’s newsletter there an aromatherapy course for Mums with crèche so you can learn a new skill and get a bit of mummy time, the chance to host the world’s biggest coffee morning and Science uncovered for your little scientist. This week’s sponsor is Munckin Music.

Come and enjoy music time with your little munchkins. Each half-hour interactive music class is packed with singing, dancing and more! They run weekly drop-in music classes and the little ones are entertained from start to finish: pop-up books, puppets and bubbles all add to the fun. Classes are mixed age, so ideal for siblings!  Classes run in Brook Green and also available for children’s birthday parties and private music classes in your home.  See website for more details or phone Emily on 07909 968300.

We had lots of fun getting pampered with our hair and make up for the Jeans for Genes Fashion Show at Beaufort House last Wednesday which was organised by our friends at London Mothers Club. All mummy models were there excited and ready to strut on the cat walk for such an amazing cause. Thank you all for coming and supporting us.

Kensington Mums was invited for a breakfast with a twist underneath the beautiful setting of the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion surrounded by Kensington Gardens, thanks to Harrods and the Doyle Collection.

In case you have missed it, our charity walk has been featured in Angels and Urchins online magazine.
