London Sea life Aquarium

Thank you to London Sea life Aquarium for inviting Kensington Mums to experience the Frozen Planet attraction in their fabulous facilities.
Open Monday to Sunday, from 10.00 to 19.00, London Sea life Aquarium is a wonderful family-oriented outing, and it’s a real adventure to be able to take part in an exciting interactive attraction. Families will experience the magical polar ice worlds of BBC Earth’s epic natural history series: Frozen Planet the new permanent attraction at London Sea Life Aquarium.
The Frozen Planet: Face to Face experience at SEA LIFE London Aquarium is included in the entrance price.  You can also enjoy getting up close to over 6000 colourful aquatic inhabitants representing over 600 species in 65 immersive displays.

The numerous lifts and ramp access make the journey stress free for those who are coming with prams or young children.

The much anticipated Frozen Planet is the last attraction of the visit, where a giant screen brings the public face to face with a friendly mummy polar bear and her cub splashing about in water, before being introduced to a killer whale.
You will come ‘face to face’ with a polar bear and her cub via augmented reality and go above and beneath the ice through spectacular polar landscapes. Your little ones will feel the chilly air on their skin and witness an astonishing display of Northern Lights.
Using the fascinating art of augmented reality, the attraction immerses us in the icy Antarctic with the animals themselves.
This attraction is a big hit and a real treat for young and old alike. People wait to get a space in the front row so they can take pictures or film themselves ‘stroking’ the animals on the screen.
The aquarium does get busy during the weekend, especially on Saturday afternoons, but the friendliness of the staff and the numerous ‘rest’ spots allow everyone to make the visit at their own pace.
Whether it’s just to learn about different fish species or take a more active role in sea life protection by enrolling in one of the aquarium’s Breed Rescue Protect initiatives, there’s something for everyone.
If you feel inclined, you can even upgrade your ticket to see behind the scenes, and get to meet the highly trained team of people who care so well for this marvellous treasure of an aquarium.
We had a great time and highly recommend the London Aquarium for a fun filled family day out.
