Here is a round up to what we have been up to lately…
We are finalising the final touches for the motherhood exhibition which will be part of International Women’s day with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea this Friday!
Kensington Mums enjoyed a day off and headed to the London fashion weekend, where we got browsing through the latest trends and fashion must have. Who said Mums can’t be glam? Watch the latest collection on our you tube Channel. Its all about flower power, and metallic colours.
Kensington Mums enjoyed a day out during half term at the London Transport Museum in the heart of Covent Garden. This gem of a place, is great for little ones to explore. Their hands on activities and mini buses, boats and taxi surely kept them busy. Check out more pictures we posted on our Instagram account.
University College London hold lunch hour lectures. Last week, Kensington Mums attended the talk by Professor Yvonne Kelly, UCL Epidemiology and Public Health. Topic was a good start in life. The more advantages a child has early in life, the better their health and development and their own socioeconomic circumstances in adulthood. You can watch the lecture sometime this week, on their youtube channel.
The pictures of our mumthly coffee morning are out. Thanks to the lovely Anna for hosting it, it was a full house indeed and we even got a special visit from a clown! Stay tuned for the date of our March mumthly meet up, email us [email protected] with subject heading ‘March mumthly meet up’ if you would like to join the fun. We are always on the look out for volunteers to host our popular meet ups, its a great way to meet and mingle with local Mums.
