It’s the Season for giving

Christmas is a time of giving the light of love to those who need it most.

As 2013 comes to an end, we think about what we’ve accomplished throughout the year, and give thanks for all we have in our lives; our friends, family, loved ones, a place we can call home… There are many out there who are not so lucky.

In the spirit of the holidays, we are calling out for all Kensington Mums and Dads. We are putting together hampers of donations for several charities in the local area-  especially for children and families in need. We ask you to please donate your cared for and loved items, including children’s and adult’s clothes, shoes, toys, books…. that can help a local family in need at this time.

If you have anything to donate, please  email us at [email protected] with subject heading ‘Christmas in need’.

All donations must be put in a plastic bag and received by 14th of December 2013 the latest. Please put a sticker or a tag on the bag to suggest age group and gender of your goods. This will help us tremendously when making the hampers.

If you would like to volunteer your time, we are looking for a troop of Kensington Mums and Dads who would be free on 21st and 22nd December to put the hampers together and to deliver them in time for Christmas.

I truly believe that together we can make a difference.
