Kensington Mums reviews Goboat

Be it a weekend, half term or another Bank Holiday on the horizon, Londoners will be gearing up for another weekend of fun in the (somewhat) sun. Those looking for a new family activity away from the park should look no further than booking their own private electric boat via GoBoat; the perfect way to spend the day on the city’s canals.

Families will enjoy a leisurely cruise, with the boats travelling at speeds of 4mph, and take in some of London’s most impressive views including Hampton Court Palace (Kingston), the Isle of Dogs (Canary Wharf) Little Venice and Camden Lock (Paddington).

Groups of up to eight can board each boat and the experience is both dog and child friendly with life jackets and buoyancy aids provided. No prior boating knowledge is necessary, with staff giving a full tutorial before setting sail, meaning it’s something for the whole family to enjoy. These are also great for birthday and special celebrations, around some of London’s famous landmarks.

GoBoat ensures things are kept safe and within government guidelines:

·       Eight people may book a GoBoat

·       Every GoBoat is sanitized in-between each trip

·       Contactless payment only, booking ahead online is advised

·       Contact-free check-in at the kiosk

GoBoat guests can choose between 1, 2- or 3-hour journeys.
