Kensington Mums reviews the Ginger bread city

Kensington Mums visited the Museum of Architecture‘s Gingerbread City, an exhibition in South Kensington with a series of workshops that make up the museum’s annual winter fundraiser, masterplanned and sponsored by Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design.

This is great for a family day out in London. Within the museum of architecture, situated in the heart of South Kensington, there is a room which has a complete city built out of gingerbread designed by London’s best architects. It is really spectacular to see!
As you browse through each masterpiece, you see the attention to detail that is put into each piece. It is truly captivating and everything is made from edible products! There is a football stadium, train station, opera house and lots more to see.
The kids aged 9, 7 and 2 absolutely loved it and spent about an hour inside looking at every little detail. Definitely worth visiting!
You can also participate in Family Gingerbread House making workshops. The workshops take place three times a day from the 9-22 December.
Kensington Mums rating 4/5.
