This half-term visit London Transport Museum in Covent Garden to discover the stories of pioneering women who have kept London’s transport moving for over a century.
Activities will celebrate the women drivers, conductors, mechanics, engineers, designers, and artists who paved the way for others.
Follow a self-guided trail, take part in craft sessions, and join a guided tour of the new Global Poster Gallery, all inspired by these women and their stories.
Kids go free! Adult tickets include free return entry for a whole year.
Family Fun at Shakespeare’s Globe this February Half-Term
Discover Shakespeare’s timeless stories together as a family this half term. Storytelling performances will bring to life A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, The Winter’s Tale and The Tempest in a fun and interactive way for ages 5-12 and their grown-ups. Or, brush up your performing skills and bring the characters and stories to life yourselves in creative and practical Family Workshops for ages 5-8 and 9-12.
After that, why not explore the history and secrets of the Globe Theatre on the Shakespeare’s Globe Story and Tour. Expert tour guides will lead you around the theatre, and you can explore the new accompanying interactive exhibition together as a family. Or, uncover the spooky side of Shakespeare with a special Ghosts and Ghouls Family Tour.

Science camps at Little House of Science
Unleash your child’s inner scientist at our February Half-Term Camp 2024! From 12-16 February, we’re diving into Newtonian and aerodynamic physics with hands-on experiments and interactive content. Kids aged 4-12 will explore everything from the evolution of flight to space exploration. (Groups are split into age-adjusted groups 4-7 and 8-12 years).
Hosted at the Holiday Inn London – High Street Kensington, we offer flexible booking options and discounts for siblings and friends.
Caribbean Collection Family Activity at the V&A
Pick up a new free family activity from the Learning Centre to go on an adventure in the Museum to find out about our Caribbean Collection of Art and Design. You’ll be guided through activities and discover creative artists, designers and makers, and learn how their Caribbean heritage inspired their work along the way!
With this free self-guided activity you will explore textile designs and furniture objects as well as photography. Free event until 28th February 2024 at Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington.
