February Half-Term Science Camp Full of Fun and Learning

Richer Education inspires children to learn about STEM subjects in a fun, creative and hands-on way. Their content is delivered through themes and children can expect to participate in a variety of experiments, activities and group work. Their science camp returns this half-term with a variety of activities, experiments and demonstrations for children to learn and discover new concepts. Little House of Science

Who wants to be a Biologist? Imperial College South Kensington 13-15 February 2018Daily Tuesdays-Thursdays, 10.00-3.00, 4-11 years (workshops can be booked for separate days!). We believe the importance of biology is fundamental. All children have a strong interest in science, especially biology, which we like to nurture and to be inquisitive about nature. Join us for 3 days dedicated to biology. The children will learn about animal and vegetable cells, microorganisms and their importance, DNA, evolution and adaptations. We will familiarise the Little and Young Scientists with the great names in Biology science like Pasteur, Darwin, Fleming, Franklin. We will analyse with the children the main differences between humans and other species and will make our first steps in the fascinating world of neuroscience. Half Term at the Royal Albert Hall

For an unforgettable day out, bring your little ones to one of the Royal Albert Hall’s range of interactive and engaging events this Half-Term.  On Monday and Tuesday, Tales From the Shed deliver a vibrant interactive production for children aged 0 to 6; Wednesday sees Nick Cope covering everything from monkeys to mud in his Family Songbook; Thursday’s Tongue Fu for Kids is jam-packed with wordplay for children aged 7 to 11, and on Friday the Hall’s resident ensemble, Albert’s Band, present a programme of music for all the family. The Fashion School in Notting Hill

The Fashion School in Notting Hill, are running two workshops for aspiring fashion designers during the February half term to get everyone sewing. 11-15 year olds: Tuesday 13th at 2.30pm-7pm and for 7-10 year olds: Thursday 15th at 1.30pm-6pm. Your child will learn how to use a sewing machine, sketch like a fashion designer and they’ll get to make and take home their own pretty Liberty fabric printed shorts. Free half term events at the Museum of London

February half term: 10-18 February. Help transform the capital at the Museum of London’s free family events every day during half term. Learn how to care for our natural environment at interactive workshops and activities. Kids with Brains provides exciting and hands-on science birthday parties for 5-11 years old. They are very popular, as each and every child participates on fun experiments and can make cool things such as gooey slime, elephant toothpaste, wizard’s brew or dry ice experiments, among many others. We also run after-school clubs, workshops, and camps during half-term and Summer and can participate in school Summer fairs or other events.
