Mama Shelter London – Shoreditch is your home away from home in the heart of East London. Kensington Mums enjoyed a family kidscation. The neighbourhood hotel is nestled a few steps away from both Cambridge Heath train station and Bethnal Green underground, and only a short stroll from Shoreditch. With cutting-edge design elements crafted by Parisian designers Dion & Arles, Mama Shelter London – Shoreditch houses 194 bedrooms, each a sanctuary that combines home comforts with all your digital needs. Stay at Mama Shelter- Shoreditch
We were a family of four and had booked the Medium Mama room which offers an ideal respite from the city bustle. The connecting rooms, were perfect during our two night staycation, which are available as twin beds and a roomy double bed. Family Fun at Mama Shelter London – Shoreditch
During our stay, we enjoyed our Karaoke night with the kids. They have 2 rooms and always booked up in advance for special events and birthday parties. Each room can fit up to 15 people for a some dance, music and fun. You’ll be able to choose your perfect playlist from 10,000 songs. If you have been following us on Instagram, you would have seen all the songs we sang to, did someone say Madonna or Celine Dion? The kids created their own playlist and you get to order drinks and food in between your favourite songs.
We also loved discovering the local neighbourhood around, especially on Sunday, Colombia Road flower market, if you love flowers then this is the place for you. One of London’s most well-known and nicest-looking markets, Columbia Road overflows with bucketfuls of beautiful flowers every Sunday. From 8am-3pm, market traders line the narrow street selling flowers, houseplants, herbs, bulbs and shrubs.
Food and drink at Mama Shelter London – Shoreditch
Mama’s restaurant is as cosmopolitan as the city she finds herself. Whilst she takes her inspiration from her French heritage, nuances are included from her London home
with local produce. Enjoy hearty confit duck poutine or their legendary burger with braised short rib, raclette and French onion aioli just to name a few. The kids absolutely loved the macaroni and cheese.

For breakfast and sunday brunch, we loved their avocado on sourdough as well as cornbread pancakes. If you visit, make sure to check out their beautiful selection of mama shleter dinnerwear with a message.
Mama Shelter London also has 1 private dining room and a garden bar, which is great to meet and mingle with your friends and family.
