Please introduce yourself:
My name is Estelle Keeber, I’m one of the UK’s leading Instagram experts and founder of Immortal Monkey. I have 2 sons who I love dearly but sometimes want to put in a cage…with a shark. Only joking… kinda.
How do you manage to juggle work and life balance as a mother?
We will never feel like we get it right… no matter how right we get it. It’s hard to find time for everything and for me a to-do list and calendar are must-haves!
What top tips would you give to any working mum?
Give yourself time to yourself in the morning before the kids wake up. I know there are not enough hours in the day… however getting up a bit earlier will make a world of difference…enjoy the silence!
What do you love most about London? Do you have a favourite spot with your children?
I utterly LOVE London. I travel down quite a lot for work and my favourite place to visit is Hyde Park or maybe a cheeky trip to Fortnums.
How do you define quality ‘me-time’?
For me, it’s walking my dog, meditating or watching Netflix. I use to find it so hard to switch off and relax… I’m getting better thanks to a few awesome box sets!
What is your favourite & least favourite thing about parenthood?
Favourite thing has to be that moment when they are sleeping… you creep in, they look so perfect, calm and serene… then they wake up!
Worst bit…always feeling like you have no idea… even after having my second son I still find myself thinking… OMG, how do I deal with this situation?
Tell us something people don’t know about you
I love cold beans… and eat them out of the tin!
Given we are all about embracing Motherhood, what advice would you give a first time Mum?
Take your time, enjoy it and take what others say with a pinch of salt. Everyone has an opinion these days… the only one that really matters when it comes to YOUR baby is yours!
I’m a mum and…
an Insta Queen!
Finally, please let us know what you love most about Kensington Mums?
Being a mum is hard and we all need all the support we can get. KM are a brilliant support network.
