We hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s day yesterday. Now it is almost Easter and the Easter weekend is around the corner, along with the school holidays.  Here is your Easter scoop filled with activities to keep you and your little ones entertained.

Little House of Science is a place for Little Scientists to learn, experiment, explore and play! For children aged 3-7 & Big Science 8-11 years. Do you love rabbits? Then come to the Battersea Park Children’s Zoo’s Rabbit Day on 29th March, where you can make rabbit ears, have your face painted with rabbit whiskers, listen to rabbit stories and meet a real rabbit close up. There are also Hedgehog Days on 5th and 7th April, with Hedgehog Story Time, meeting a real hedgehog and making your own clay model. Fun French Easter Day Camp Et PatatiPatata! (29th March- 1st April). Les petits explorateurs. Monday: Let’s explore the summer program of the Natural History Museum. Tuesday: Art and Crafts. Art of the Garden. Come along to create art and craft inspired by the Garden at the Chelsea Physic Garden. We will take you on a journey around the world to see vampire plants, spiky cacti, tropical treasures, medicines, worms, tadpoles, birds, vegetables, perfumes, seeds and ferns. Help will be on hand to develop your artistic skills in the inspiring setting of the Garden. Try out printing, painting, sketching and model and mobile making using natural and recycled materials. The Ecology Centre runs a scheme of environmental themed activities in the summer, Easter and half-term holidays for five to ten year olds (under eights must be accompanied by an adult). These activities utilise the centre and the wooded Wildlife Area. Their fun packed programme includes outdoor activities like minibeast hunting and nature trails, and animal themed craft sessions.
