Enjoyed best nestled in the hotel’s beautiful drawing rooms, the one-weekend-only Easter Afternoon Tea exudes spring spirit with adorable easter bunnies and chocolate easter eggs, served in the most elegant setting.
Location
Located in the heart of Kensington, the Kensington Hotel part of the Doyle Collection, a range of Irish family-owned luxury and urban hotels. The Town House at The Kensington is a rare and restful blend of deep heritage and uncluttered modern calm. We have hosted some of our most memorable events there in the past and love the personalised touch every time. The hotel comprises four Victorian townhouses and is more akin to a beautifully appointed private residence than a traditional hotel.
Easter Afternoon tea
This Easter themed feast starts with traditional sandwiches followed by warm scones, lathered with clotted cream and jam. Sweet treats include a buttermilk rose waster white chocolate Easter bunny sprayed with white chocolate on a sable Briton base with green icing grass; a yellow macaroon filled with pea flower vanilla cream and elderflower jelly; Easter egg praline and roasted hazelnut decorated with Easter banner icing sprayed with milk chocolate and honey lemon crushed raspberry beehive shaped mousse.
You get to try unlimited tea tasting from their specialised tea selection. Sebastien our waiter was very hospitable and explained the different sandwiches, cakes and teas available. He took good care of us. They are also able to accommodate to a number of dietary requirements with given notice.
