Chocolate orange cake

Today’s KM recipe is by Tanja Ting who is a former international model, chef and goldsmith originally from Denmark and famous for gracing the pages of high-end publications such as Italian Vogue and Elle Magazine. We are delighted to have her contribute on our KM recipe with her Chocolate orange cake. Yum! Sounds delicious.This is what she said about this recipe: “When my kids and husband tried this cake for the first time they couldn’t believe that it actually was a healthy cake and not full of sugar and butter”. 1 1/2 cups of almond flour
1/2 cup of raw unsweetened cocoa powder 
2 tsp baking powder
Zest from 1 orange
2 eggs
2 tbsp fresh orange juice
1 1/2 cups of dates
1/2 cup of water
2 tbsp natural yogurt
Preheat oven to 180 C.
Place dates and water in your blender and blend until you get and smooth paste.
Then in a medium size bowl place all the ingredients with the date mix and whisk until you get and even cake mixture.
Pour your dough into a round cake-tin covered with baking paper and bake for 25 minutes.
