Swimming Nature, a London-wide specialist swimming teaching company, recommends getting back in the pool as soon as possible.
Two million youngsters missing out on swimming during the pandemic
With reports suggesting that two million youngsters have missed out on the chance to go swimming during coronavirus pandemic, Swimming Nature would like to echo the important message of the national governing bodies for swimming of encouraging parents and guardians to re-enrol their children into swimming lessons so they can catch-up.
Eduardo Ferré, the Founder & Director at Swimming Nature says: “Here at Swimming Nature, we feel passionate about children learning to swim; after all, swimming is not only beneficial for children physically and mentally, it’s also a key like skill. It’s therefore devasting to hear that so many children have missed out on this opportunity – and particularly when swimming plays a huge role in children’s health and wellbeing too.”
There is still time to enrol into Swimming Nature’s autumn term
After the rollercoaster of pools closing, then reopening, and then closing again during the pandemic, Swimming Nature have been able to successfully return to the pool safely and were overjoyed to welcome back so many of their swimmers in the Spring term – and during this current Autumn term.
So, if you’ve not started back yet or have been waiting for your local pool to reopen, Swimming Nature say there is still time to enrol / re-enrol your child into their Autumn term across several of their pools in London. Plus, bookings for their Spring term next year will be available to book from November onwards.
If it has been a while since your child last attended swimming lessons and you are unsure what level your child might be at now, please use Swimming Nature’s online ‘Find Your Level’ here https://www.swimmingnature.com/sn-public/children.html
