BlueShift_Workshop02_HR-027-2blue{shift} is based in West London and teaches primary school aged children through classes and workshops. We create our own teaching materials utilising a number of different programming environments, languages and approaches. Our current courses focus on teaching the fundamentals of programming in a fun and creative way, using a range of environments including Scratch, Java, Python and HTML/CSS/ Javascript for kids from 6 to 12 years old. Starting in January, we will be running several Saturday Web Labs for children at our new Portobello Road office in Notting Hill. Calling all coding enthusiasts! Kids en cuisine and Gambado Chelsea offer regular cooking classes on Tuesdays at 10am for 1H for 6 weeks. Your children will be allowed to use various cooking items, we will help them to develop their fine motor skills and senses. Chickenshed Kensington and Chelsea Children’s Theatre Workshop. Based at The Wharf Rooms, Chickenshed runs exciting, vibrant and inclusive theatre workshops for all children aged 5-11yrs. Our workshops are taught by highly skilled practitioners who will invent and explore drama, dance and music.  Children will get the chance to improve and develop their skills and creative abilities during these fun and creative sessions. Southbank Centre.  Dragon Babies. Monday 11, 18 & 25 January 2016. Bring your little ones to shake, rattle and gong!  This fun session invites you to experience the sounds of Southbank Centre’s beautiful Gamelan (Javanese orchestra) and introduce your Dragon Babies to creative musical play through singing, movement and percussion. No previous musical experience is needed, just a willingness to take off your shoes, sit on the floor and have fun! For ages 3 – 5 years.
