Independent, artisan Food & Drink Producers are sometimes very hard to find. Founder Ashley Meneely realised this as a cameraman filming foodie television shows around the UK. He realised that the producers he was filming were not easy to find unless you happened to live around the corner from them.
He felt that there must be a better way to buy directly from these producers and get to know them. Earth & Ocean is the solution, it is a website where you can buy directly from multiple producers in one checkout process and the goods are shipped straight to your door from the producers themselves. From a malt vinegar producer in Orkney to a cheese maker in Cornwall, there is now a way for these producers to list their goods on the site and for passionate foodies to discover them.
This is better for the producers, easy for foodies to support the independent food scene and with no middle man there are less food miles. Sustainable, ethical and good for the planet!
