We can’t wait for this year’s London Walkabout on October 8th in Hyde Park! If you’ve attended the Kensington Mums walk before with us, you’ll know that it’s a super fun family day out and the perfect weekend activity to do with your kids. This year’s event is superhero themed: we’re all becoming #WalkaboutHeroes, and gathering to walk for those who can’t and raise money for Walkabout Fondation, a charity that aims to restore dignity, freedom and independence to children and adults with disabilities across the world by donating wheelchairs to people in need and funding research to find a cure for paralysis.
After the 5k walk (or ride, run, stroll, scoot, roll or skip) there will be entertainment, a live band, a picnic, and activity marquees filled with fun and games. For the bigger #WalkaboutHeroes there will be a raffle and silent auction, with incredible prizes from the likes of Stella McCartney, Lilly e Violetta, KX Gym, and many more! Tickets are just £35 (under 2s go free) and this includes a goody bag, superhero cape, picnic lunch, and all activities. The event starts at 10AM, with the walk beginning at 11AM.
