One of the best resources we have found so far are the Collins revision and assessment books. First of all, they are not just a long list of mock tests and questions but they include extremely useful pages of revision and examples that the child (and often the parents!) can have a look at before attempting the much dreaded assessment pages.
This gives the confidence to understand the subject ahead of the test and makes it easier to work with focus and attention.
It’s not a coincidence they are one of London’s top tutors favourite resources!
And they are not only useful for those children that are preparing for private school exams. Some forms of assessments are what selective state schools are currently using.
Yes, preparing for an entry test is stressful and tiring. But the right resources are a big factor in making the process as easy as possible.
