We love summer, its a time to wear light clothes, have our legs out in sandals, instead of being tucked into winter boots. Victoria Genevieve is a personal stylist in London and one thing she understands more than anything with her clients it’s the need to look good on the outside but feel amazing on the inside too. She shares with us her top picks for summer dresses.

Over to Victoria…

This summer has defiantly been the season for dress wearing. Not only has the weather been perfect but the stores have had more choice than ever before.  As a mum and full time stylist I am a massive advocate of the dress.  The main reason being that it is an outfit in one and you just slip on some shoes and you are good to go.

Top 5 Summer Dresses

This dress is slightly more expensive for H&M but I actually own it and cost per wear it owes me nothing. I’ve been wearing it on repeat, perfect with some sandals and then throw on a blue denim jacket if you need to keep warm. I’ts also a good dress for throwing on for the school run or for those that don’t like to expose their arms and shoulders.

Blue and white is always a classic colour combo when dressing for summer. This lightweight dress is perfect for taking on holiday and again works well with a little denim jacket for chiller days.

For me this is the ultimate summer dress from Zara. I can literally imagine throwing this on in the morning and picking up my basket to go and collect fresh blooms and pastries. There are similar dresses all over the high street. Mango also has a fab strapless option

The ‘must have’ go- to brand if you are wanting to get away from the high street has to be Pampelone, www.pampelone.com

My Favourte dress this season has to be the Delphina Maxi dress, its just simply divine.

They also have a mini-me collection that works in collaboration with @mothers2mothers https://www.m2m.org where 100% of the proceeds goes to this wonderful charity.

I hope that helps for your summer holiday.
