The spellbinding magic of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to the Royal Albert Hall

This November, the Harry Potter™ Film Concert Series returns to the Royal Albert Hall for the fourth instalment of J.K. Rowling’s classic saga.

For the first time ever, audiences can rediscover the magic of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™ while the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Justin Freer,
performs Patrick Doyle’s unforgettable score and Harry Potter™ soars across the big screen in high- definition.

“The Harry Potter™ film series is one of those once-in-a-lifetime cultural phenomena that continues to delight millions of fans around the world. It is with great pleasure that we present for the first time ever an opportunity to experience the award-winning music score played live by a symphony orchestra, while the beloved film is projected onto the big screen. It will be an unforgettable event.”

Mike Newell’s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™ follows Harry and co. in their fourth year at Hogwarts, when things start taking a turn for the worse in the wizarding world: Death Eaters crash the Quidditch World Cup, the Triwizard Tournament takes place, complete with dragons and merpeople, and a fateful encounter in a cemetery with You-Know-Who sees Harry commence a journey to fulfil his destiny. Oh, and did we mention the school dance?

Starring Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall, Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid, Alan Rickman as Professor Snape, and (of course!) Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma as Harry, Ron and Hermione, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™ enjoyed an immensely successful run at the box office: it was the highest-grossing film of 2005 and the eighth-highest-grossing film of all-time in that year. The film is also one of the best-reviewed instalments within the series, being praised for the higher level of maturity and sophistication of its characters, plotline, tone, screenplay, and the performances of the lead actors.
