Kensington Mums would like to thank the prestigious 100 Queens Gate part of the Curio Collection by Hilton for a weekend of luxury in the heart of Kensington, London. We have always emphasised the important of self care for mothers, and this was the best occasion.
Self-care is self-strengthening it’s the actions you take to protect, maintain and improve your physical and mental health and wellbeing. It isn’t just one thing like a bubble bath on a Thursday it’s your whole holistic approach to your health and making time for yourself. It’s paying attention to your needs, making sure that you are taking care of yourself and not becoming burnout and exhausted. Self-care helps you manage stress. It’s making time for who you are and who you want to be.
“You need to take care of yourself in order to take care of others.”

We maybe mothers, but there is always this little girl inside of us. The staycation, included an early night inn watching a movie with a face mask on. Breakfast and afternoon tea was also included in our stay. Scroll down to view more pictures of our stay by Vanessa Sotto. Having a staycation is sometimes just what the doctor ordered, a little time just for me to unwind and relax. We all lead such busy lifestyle these days, especially Mums so its good to make time for yourself and take things slow. I highly recommend a staycation at 100 Queens Gate Hotel, for families and for those visiting London. It is also ideal for having family members nearby, when your home does not have place to accommodate them. We will take you over what the Hotel provides, but first up who doesn’t like a pillow fight? This was a must and makes a great photo capture with your childhood friend.
