A modern-day Swallows & Amazons, an Oppidan Camp is a return to how childhood should be. For children aged 8-13, based just north of London, this five-day residential camp has it all. Children wake early from their tents to make breakfast, before a carousel of activities and workshops, including poetry, debate, drama and art attack throughout the morning. Sports, water sports and team games take place in the afternoon, before cooking, marshmallows and Oppidan’s Got Talent around the campfire rounds off the day perfectly.
This May half-term, we welcome Premiership rugby side, Harlequins, to run the inaugural rugby workshop.

Get creative with poster making and more! There’s so much family fun at the National Army Museum this half term. Grab a blow pen in a free ‘airbrush effects’ workshop, get interactive in our digital poster workshop and make your mark with poster printing.

The School for Creative Thinkers is created by the team behind the sold-out event at the V&A Museum: the Gingerbread City and gingerbread house-making workshops. This May term-break, we are running creative workshops: the Woodland Creatures Garden.
In this 2-hour workshop, children and parent /guardian will be creating their own creature’s home, learning about architecture and the landscape, working with our team of architects, designers, teachers and be outdoors in the Edible Garden. Every child will have his or her own delightful magical dwelling to take home.
