Venture Beyond the Main Stage at the Royal Albert Hall and discover the Children and Families series in the Hall’s friendly intimate performance space, the Elgar Room.
Coming up, they have everything from Baby Broadway (a series of interactive mini-concerts for little ones), to a relaxing Parent and Baby Soundbath, to Bring Your Own Baby (a comedy gig for grown-ups where babies are welcome)!
Baby Broadway
Baby Broadway is an interactive experience where the entire family can sing and dance along to tunes from classic musicals and films, performed by West End singers.
Little ones will delight in the bubbles, charming puppets, lively actions and dance moves to copy, whilst grown-ups indulge in an uplifting singalong.
Join us for a classic Baby Broadway filled with showtunes, a Baby Knees Up, and two festive Christmas specials!
Parent and Baby Soundbath
Join BBC-featured sound healer, yoga teacher and professional singer Sasha Jacques, founder of Starseed Offerings, for a calming soundbath designed especially for parents and babies.
Babies are free to feed, sleep, move or make sounds throughout, creating a relaxed and supportive atmosphere for everyone.
The session begins with gentle movement and simple breathwork to help everyone settle into the space and arrive together. These accessible practices create a relaxed and peaceful environment for both parent and baby. Movement is optional and suitable for all.
The heart of the experience is an immersive soundbath using instruments from cultures around the world, including crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gong, shamanic drum, percussion, chimes and live vocals. The soothing vibrations create a rich soundscape that encourages deep relaxation and sensory awareness for both adults and babies.
The session closes with light group singing, where parents are welcome to softly sing along or simply listen.
Bring Your Own Baby
An afternoon of some of the UK’s best comedians, a fully stocked bar and absolutely no need for a babysitter – Bring Your Own Baby is a comedy gig for grown-ups where babies are welcome!
There’s buggy parking, baby changing and more. The bar is fully stocked, whether you fancy a cuppa or something a bit stronger. If you need to change, feed, or care for your baby in any way then please feel free… and the comics won’t mind being heckled by the younger guests!
Please note that this show has a 15-month age limit for little ones, as comedians will still be performing their usual grown-up jokes.y
