Perform in the Park – Coram’s Fields
Perform in the Park is London’s first ever festival of children’s theatre created by acclaimed children’s drama school Perform.
A brand-new 500 seat theatre will come to Coram’s Fields this Summer showing live performances all day from 22nd July. With four fantastic children’s shows to see plus an all-day café and the playgrounds, sandpits and paddling pool of Coram’s Fields it’s the perfect day out for all the family.
The line-up includes The Three Billy Goats Gruff, a musical adventure for 2-7-year-olds and for 3-8-year-olds, Elephant and Piggie’s “We are in a play!”. For primary school children they can see Perform’s brand-new Caribbean adventure Mermaids & Pirates and The Dream, inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Pippi Longstocking at The Other Palace
Nine-year-old Pippi is strong, brave and fearless. When she comes to live in her new home with her monkey and horse but with no parents and no rules, she brings mischief, chaos and confusion to the folk of this ordinary and traditional town. Pippi takes charge of her own crazy adventures, with her two new friends, Tommy and Annika. What else would you expect from the daughter of a swashbuckling pirate captain?
This playful and quirky solo storytelling performance, with audience participation, introduces children to Astrid Lindgren’s much-loved Pippi Longstocking, ‘the strongest girl in the world’. Find out why the self-sufficient, quick-witted, and generous Pippi has inspired fans the world over, including Lauren Child, Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, and Cerys Matthews, to name just a few!
Immersive Family Theatre
Join Wild Immersive Theatre for a family adventure like no other at Chelsea Physic Garden! Alice in Wonderland is filled with fun, laughter and lots of magical moments. You are invited to follow the White Rabbit into a curiously enchanting world of wonder.

This summer The Mosaic Rooms is pleased to invite children, families and all to play and create in our new outdoor play commission by RESOLVE Collective.
Tools for Solidarity is a collaborative project by RESOLVE Collective that draws on workshops with participants of Earl’s Court Youth Club, local families in the Earl’s Court area, and several schools in Ramallah, Palestine.
The outdoor play installation has been shaped through these participatory workshops, learning from the young peoples’ local experiences of place and belonging, solidarity, and togetherness. Tools for Solidarity animates and activates children’s creative language through play and presents a fun, interactive and evolving play structure in The Mosaic Rooms’ Garden.
This new project will manifest in a series of interactive sculptures which harness radical play and remix recycled materials to ask young people and their families: what tools are needed in our communities to practice solidarity? Throughout the summer, the installation will grow and evolve, changing through play, as a way of exploring and supporting practices of solidarity for a variety of communities and social causes locally and internationally.
