When we think about November, we think about fireworks displays and bonfires. That’s also when we start thinking about the festive season and when festive activities start popping up around London. So we have selected the best kids’ activities and family days out for you.

Watch the Bonfire Night fireworks displays in Chiswick park on the 3rd of November, at the Alexandra Palace on the 5th of November, or at Battersea Park on the 5th and 6th of November.

Don’t miss the South Ken Kids Festival (14-20 Nov) at the Institut Francais celebrating the delightful wonders of children’s literature in a week packed with live drawing events, workshops, films, and more, with the most talented children’s writers and illustrators from both sides of the Channel and beyond.

Or join us to celebrate Kensington Mum’s 11th anniversary on Friday 18th November 2022 at the Origin Kensington in the Royal Garden Hotel. The evening will be an occasion to meet like-minded parents in the local area and enjoy a 3-course dinner. We will also be giving out VIP goody bags and some amazing raffle prizes to support Hestia Charity. Booking is essential.

If it is a piano concert you are after, you will be delighted to know that Guy Manoukian will be back in London performing at Her Majesty’s Theatre a spectacular concert on Sunday 6th November 2022.

With Christmas approaching, some festive events are starting to take place all around London. Oxford Street will be the first to switch on their lights on November 2nd, followed by Carnaby Street on the 3rd, Covent Garden on the 8th and Regent Street on the 9th.

Prince’s Gardens Preparatory School’s 2022 Christmas Fair will be held on the evening of Wednesday 23rd November. Open to friends and family of Prince’s Gardens and members of the public, join them for a festive drink and get a head start on your Christmas shopping, with stalls selling homewares, jewellery, crafts, ceramics, food, and Christmas gifts. October Half-Term Scoop 2022

Go ice-skating at Canary Wharf (from 22nd October), glide at Battersea Power Station ice rink (from 11th November), skate at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland (from 18th November), or at Somerset House (from 12th November).
