Summer holiday drawing and painting classes for children aged 8 to 18 in Chelsea and Ravenscourt Park
At Chelsea Fine Arts we believe that any person can learn the skills of drawing and painting whether they are naturally talented or an absolute beginner.”
Over the summer holidays Chelsea Fine Arts will be running art classes from 8th – 26th August for young people aged 8-18 who are serious about learning to draw and paint, at their two air-conditioned studios (in Chelsea and Ravenscourt Park).
The classes are ideal for students who are serious about developing observational drawing and painting skills, building portfolios for secondary school assessments, and for those who want to take advantage of a wonderfully calm environment for art creation during the holidays.
However, no previous experience is needed. Often students who come knowing nothing progress the fastest. It’s wonderful to see their self-confidence grow and their pride when they leave with their own framed work of art.
The classes are mixed ages but not taught as a group. Each student has their own easel and still life set up or project and is taught individually by a fully trained tutor.
Students can come in the mornings (10 30am to 1pm) or afternoons ( 2 30pm to 5pm)– each session lasts 2.5 hours. All the supplies are included.
Classes are running from 8th August to 26th August. Three to five sessions are recommended, but any number of sessions can be booked.
