I am a contented Mummy of two healthy and vivacious kids and a Kensington lover, it is where I grew up.  It all started when I had my first baby. It occurred to me that I was not the only one struggling with interrupted sleep, being on call 24/7 with no time off.

Kensington Mums was established in 2011 with the aim of sharing knowledge and experiences and helping my yummy Kensington Mums learn from one another. After having my second baby, the idea of having a bigger network support came to mind and in a sense created a passion in me to help mums outside my group of friends.

It occurred to me that mums really need a network support so that they won’t feel alone in a haze of milky delight during the first few months of being a Mum. Being a Mum is definitely the hardest job, but rest assured you are not alone! Network support for mums – as the name suggests – supports mums in their journey of motherhood and off course parenting. Sharing tips, swapping advice and ideas are all important in a life of a mother who wants the best for her children. A mother’s instinct is always the best.

Parenting should not be about surviving tantrums or struggling with sleep or potty training. Seeing your gorgeous cute newborn change every day, is something to look forward to. The first smile, the first tooth, the first steps…these are truly milestones to cherish forever.

When you are going crazy for the school run or feeling unmotivated and lost remember that parenting is about enjoying time with your kids because they are only little for a short while. My kids are my biggest inspiration behind my business.

I first joined Kensington Mums as member when I was expecting my first little bundle of joy, Leonardo who is now a healthy and incredibly happy toddler.

Kensington Mums really helped me during my final months of pregnancy and first months of becoming a mother.

Not having family close by and being the first to have a baby within my close cycle of friends, I often didn’t know who to talk to about my labour and birth fears or who to ask advice and share tips on breastfeeding, burps and naps.

Going to the ‘mumthly’ meet-ups gave me more confidence as a mum and made me find many new mummy friends who shared my same situation.

When the opportunity to team up with Dina came in 2014, I didn’t think about it twice. I wanted to be part of that community that once helped me so much and get to know more about all the businesses who catered for mums, babies and families and baby related world there is out there.

Three years later, I have been blessed with another baby, my baby girl.  The love and support I received by other mums and businesses we have worked with through Kensington Mums has been overwhelming and made this experience even more special for me.

What I do gives me immense joy and being able to work around my children and take them ‘into work’ is the best thing I know.

Together, connecting the Kensington Mums community.
